Planting the Seeds of Curiosity: Introducing Kindergarten Students to Construction and Robotics
This spring, the SPICE Lab had the joy of hosting a very special group of visitors—kindergarten students from a local school—for an interactive day exploring the exciting world of construction and robotics! While they may have been the youngest group we’ve ever welcomed, their enthusiasm and curiosity were unmatched. The goal of this outreach event was simple yet impactful: to introduce young learners to the wonders of engineering, technology, and construction in a fun, hands-on environment that sparks their imaginations. Seeing these young students light up as they interacted with the robots, explored virtual spaces, and built their own structures was truly rewarding. Events like this are essential for planting the seeds of curiosity at an early age, showing kids that construction is not just about hard hats and heavy machinery—it’s about creativity, innovation, and building the world around us.
