Amir Jafari, Ph.D.

Dr. Jafari directs the SPICE Lab, where his research focuses on human-robot collaboration, immersive learning environments, and data-driven decision-making for the built environment. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2018, his M.Sc. in Construction Management from the University of Tehran in 2011, and his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran in 2009. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the Louisiana Board of Regents, and the U.S. Department of Transportation. He serves on editorial boards for leading journals, including the Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, and is actively involved with ASCE committees.
