Advancing Smart Energy Management: Our Latest Recognition at LSU

I’m excited to share that my research on smart energy management systems for commercial buildings was recently featured by the LSU College of Engineering! The article highlights our innovative approach to integrating AI-driven energy management technologies aimed at enhancing building efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

In this project, we’re developing smart-adaptive energy management (SAEM) systems that combine centralized control with localized adaptability, leveraging real-time data, predictive algorithms, and human-centered interfaces. The goal is to move beyond traditional building management systems, making energy management more responsive, intelligent, and efficient.

This research not only contributes to the ongoing global effort toward sustainability and energy equity but also supports Louisiana’s economic and environmental goals, ensuring that commercial buildings across the state can operate more efficiently and reduce their carbon footprint.
